One of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had! All foods/drinks clearly labelled, lots of choice for vegetarians and the food we had was delicious. Some favourites were the porridge, pastries and mini apple pie pieces! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with vibrant decor. Great size bathroom with fluffy towels and additional facilities such as the safe, minibar, guest slippers were appreciated. It was our anniversary, for which the hotel left us towels shaped like swans and chocolates on the bed - a lovely gesture that made our stay even better! Great location, metres away from tram stops and fairly central with Helsinki. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. We were able to leave our suitcases on the last day, and collect them later on prior to our flight. Will definitely stay at Hotel Indigo again!

What an extraordinary hotel. The staff were very friendly, very professional, and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and slightly larger than what I was expecting. The bathroom and shower in particular were very comfortably sized by European hotel standards at this price point. The property was immaculately clean throughout. The breakfast buffet selection was large and of high quality, especially given the size of the hotel. The location was perfect, right near a tram stop. But the tourist core of Helsinki was much smaller than I was expecting so just about everything was within walking distance (except Suomenlinna) (which is on an island out from the harbor) (you have to take a ferry to get there) (but every place else is walkable).

Nice breakfast. They have a very good variety. Coffee is served in a large pot with milk in the pitcher. Tableware is iittala, which adds a nice touch to your breakfast. The room is clean. I like they are using various designers' products for the interior. I particularly loved the artek chair at the desk. They have two saunas for women and both of them are clean. I liked the steam sauna. The other was not warm enough for me. It would be kind if they put some instructions on how to use it. It was my first time so I had to find someone to ask. The location is perfect. You can find good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The Lebanese restaurant in front of the hotel is very good., Highly recommended.

Helpful, friendly and thoughtful staff including restaurant staff - morning and night. Breakfast was out of this world, as was the menu for the evening (paid for separately). Facilities, inc sauna, and location, both excellent. Casa Italia, over the road, was a welcome evening alternative and Ekberg's for coffee and cake has to be done! Incredibly comfortable bed, (gorgeous linens), and a well-designed, well-kept - but quite compact - room. Definitely worth including breakfast in day rate. Hotel feels more boutique than others in similar price bracket which appealed more for this stay. Grown up cool without vanity!

Room was lovely, very clean and well kept. Location is absolutely perfect. Breakfast is great. I was also able to get an amazing dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening and avoid the business of the city center. This might be a small thing for some, but I really appreciated that I was able to open a window in the room to get some proper fresh air in and not just rely solely on the aircon. This hotel was recommended by a friend and I am so happy I booked it! Will come back when I am in Helsinki again.
